Primary Job Description:

The Sales Development Executive will learn all aspects of the sales process from the ground up as well as develop and grow relationships with target accounts in your territory. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a couple years’ experience looking to grow and expand their skills in Sales, Account Management, and Business Development.

Job Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

· Prospect new business through outbound phone calls, emails, networking/trade show events utilizing targeted lists, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Hubspot, etc. to prospect

· Assist in bringing in new customers to the company with thorough follow up skills, and engage and close/activate qualified prospects

· Drive engagement and new orders among existing customers assigned in your territory

· Understand customers’ needs and promote products

· Build trust over the phone and in-person

· Travel to customer meetings

Experience:

· Bachelors degree, international equivalent, or equivalent sales experience

· One year wholesale/technology/ecommerce industry sales, or telesales experience required

· Technology proficient with computer skills in MS Office, CRM experience such as Hubspot or Salesforce.com

· Professional communication skills to listen to prospects and articulate opportunities to drive account growth

· Excellent in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts

· “Make it Happen” mentality; ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

· Successful candidate will be proactive and professional, with outstanding customer development and prospecting skills

· Quick learner with the ability to take direction, and motivated to achieve and exceed quota and goals

Basic Qualifications:

· Self-motivated, energetic, well-organized individual with the ability to prioritize in a fast moving environment

· Effective networking, and problem-solving skills

· Fast-learner who takes direction/feedback and applies knowledge to advance skills

· Commits proper amount of time and effort to ensure success

· Works effectively in a team environment

· Intermediate skills with negotiation, financial, mathematical, and business acumen

· Lift up to 50 pounds

· Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
