Inside Sales Customer Service

Continental Products is a Mexico, Missouri flexible packaging manufacturer focused upon producing high quality polyethylene packaging for frozen foods and industrial applications. Continental serves a customer base than spans the continental U.S and Canada, as well as Hawaii, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Position Overview: The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for sales and customer maintenance with existing accounts and identifying new opportunities to meet goals and the strategic objectives set by the company. Success relies upon the development of strong customer relationships.

• Familiarize himself/herself with customer applications in relation to our products.

• Resolve customer problems and complaints to maintain satisfaction.

• Service accounts by producing quotations and placing orders.

• Participate in company research & development efforts.

The representative’s activity will consist of communicating with Continental Products’ customers and potential customers by phone and email from our offices in Mexico, Missouri. The representative may occasionally attend trade shows in support of customers and trade organizations associated with the industries we serve.

Requirements: • A bachelor’s degree or 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. A combination of education and sales experience is optimal.

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, as well as company leadership and production personnel.

• Must be proactive, aggressive, and competitive in seeking new business.

• Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.

• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation is a combination of base salary and commission based upon profitability of products sold.
