Export Customer Service/Sales Representative (Bpd)

Bunzl Processor Division currently has an opening for an Export Customer Service/Sales Representative supporting our international customers. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone looking to join a growing team focused on customer satisfaction.

As a team member on our export team, you will be the friendly face of our department and interfacing with our customers, as well as our internal sales and operations teams. You will build a solid relationship with the customers ensuring open communication and establishing a solid foundation of trust. Achieve significant revenue growth, profitability, and account penetration within targeted accounts by effectively selling the company’s products and services through solicitation of orders over the phone. Play a critical role in our order flow process and helping to ensure that we are achieving best in class service levels in the areas of quality, communication, and distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of customers providing exceptional customer service.
• Promotes, sells, and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
• Address product specifications, credit terms, and delivery terms inquiries.
• Manage daily order flow from quoting, order entry, tracking, and expedite request.
• Actively manage assigned accounts to ensure growth and excellent customer service.
• Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solutions.
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with products, invoicing, and/or deliveries by working with other departments, outside agencies, and the customer.
• Serves as a consultant to the customer regarding industry issues (trends, government regulations, new products, etc.)
• Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for their territory.

Requirements:

• High School or diploma equivalent
• Bachelor's degree: or a minimum of 2 years related experience in a customer service role, sales or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Applicants should be articulate and be able to adapt to all types of situations in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability to work on multiple projects and be able to take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed. 
• Ability to cross-train in the functions of other departments to be able to handle problems and/or situations quickly and efficiently.
• Must have outstanding analytical, organization and oral/written communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, be detailed oriented, and have a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
• AS400 proficiency preferred but not required.
