SUMMARY:
The IT Infrastructure Support Specialist position helps develop, use, and integrate IT systems, is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and providing training to system end users to maximize the productivity value of technology in business.
Essential Functions:
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to understanding customer requirements and business objectives.
- Ability to provide effective, strategic advice on the use of technology to achieve shared goals.
- Design skills needed to help develop corporate IT systems and networks, ensuring the most effective architecture and functionality.
- Experienced in imaging laptops and desktops.
- Commitment to supporting new technology implementation.
- Patience and ability to train users in new and existing IT systems.
- Constant willingness to assist with technical issues as needed.
- Problem-solving skills to revise existing systems and suggest improvements.
- Ability to produce concise yet thorough reports within IT and for other teams as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.
- Experienced with various operating systems, databases, and Microsoft applications such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, etc.
