Join our team as an IT Director and take charge of a dynamic role that combines leadership, security expertise, and a passion for driving technological advancement! As a seasoned professional with a strong background in management, a deep understanding of security protocols, and a keen interest in spearheading continuous improvements and innovative tech implementations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our IT landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and actively engaging in company growth, goals, and objectives as it relates to the 1-year plan, 3-year picture, and 10-year goal. Our ideal candidate will thrive on helping to build strategic plans for the Information Technology Team (including, ERP system, network, phone, telepresence, technology equipment, supplier management, etc.).
You will also direct and coordinate operational activities, lead a team and company in technology improvements, create improvements in efficiency, buy-in, and Information Technology support.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and create/maintain accountability of the IT team.
- Facilitate assignment/process of Desktop Support Requests to internal staff or Suppliers.
- Develop professional growth opportunities for team members.
- Ensure quarterly team rocks are supporting company 1 year plan, 3-year picture and 10-year goal.
- Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that includes preserving assets, back-up procedures, information security, and control structures which will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
- Use the Continuous Improvement Model of Lean Management for staff to follow all standards and updates or establish new standards.
- Responsible for balancing the use of internal staff and outside suppliers for 24/7 system uptime.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Manage team annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor changing network, equipment, and software technology & deliver technology updates to the Finance Director
- Oversee ongoing system maintenance, performance evaluations, upgrades, restructures, and network.
- Make recommendations for system improvements to improve the effectiveness of technological systems.
- Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
- Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Technology Field
- Successful team leadership experience (minimum of 5 years preferred)
- Strategic thinker
- Excels in executing, managing, completing, and following up of projects
- Works well under pressure, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective at issue resolution
- Experience and a good understanding of the professional services environment
