Industrial Weld Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Welding Process Optimization:

   • Evaluate and improve existing welding processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
   • Implement best practices and innovative techniques to enhance welding performance.

2. Project Collaboration:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute expertise in welding solutions.
   • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure welding specifications meet project goals.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure welded components meet industry standards and customer specifications.
   • Conduct regular inspections and testing of welded products to identify and address defects.

4. Welding Procedure Development:

   • Create and update welding procedures and specifications.
   • Provide technical guidance on welding parameters, materials, and equipment selection.

5. Training and Mentorship:

   • Train and mentor welding technicians and other team members.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to share knowledge within the team.

6. Safety Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all welding activities.
   • Identify and address potential safety hazards related to welding processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Welding Engineer in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
