What you need to succeed:
Following all safety rules and practices.
Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
Performing emergency breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical gearboxes, timing, alignment, etc.
Strong working knowledge of conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Performs electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs as needed.
The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
The ability to reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.
Basic understanding and application of precision maintenance.
Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
Advanced knowledge of shop tools (welding equipment, bandsaws, drill presses, hydraulic presses, etc)
May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment.
Will utilize both hand and power tools effectively while maintaining high maintenance and safety standards.
Maintaining teamwork with other associates.
Basic understanding of 5S
Basic computer skills
Basic CMMS knowledge

Pay: $26.49 - $36.56 per hour
