Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose:

Conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of the facility as needed.

Man Specifications:

Job Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED Associates degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience

Adequate exposure in Industrial Production / Knowledge of Industrial machines / Industrial Electrical & Electronics / General machine maintenance activities / Quality concepts / Preventive & corrective maintenance / Understanding of production plans / Hands on the job / Multiskilled person / Safety measures

PREFERRED Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

General Skills required : Mechanical ability / Quality conscious /Analytical / Focused / Self starter / Team Player/ Ability to communicate with India

Experience : Minimum of one year experience in Industrial production & machine maintenance area

Job Accountabilities / Content:

· 1+ years of proven experience in mechanical field.
PREFERRED: Injection Molding Experience

· Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.

· Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· A thorough knowledge of equipment including the use of instruments for diagnostic purposes.

· Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel

· Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.

· Computer experience

· High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances

· Ability to work at heights and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.

· Safety consciousness

Job Context:

To assist in the achievement of production targets by ensuring adequate machine capability and smooth operation.

Problem Solving:

To work as team player in establishing system improvements and sustaining it for longer period. Creating ownership among the maintenance team and encourage team exercises.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
