- 14 years of experience in a corporate tax department.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting with a focus on data analytics or a specialization in IT/Systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of US federal and state corporate Income Tax laws.
- Experience with managing Tax Compliance requirements and related processes for large multinational technology companies.
- Experience with ASC 740 along with strong accounting skills.
- Familiarity with current technologies impacting the tax operating model.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $198,000-$290,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role transforming our compliance function into a data-driven and efficient operation, leverage technology and automation to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and minimize risk.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Tax Compliance function, including tax return preparation, filing, extension requests, and IRS interactions.
- Ensure the company's compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures.
- Delegate work effectively, provide guidance and training to staff, and ensure quality control over all compliance activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, and IT departments.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks. Prepare and participate in tax audits and IRS examinations. Stay informed on changes in tax legislation.
