We are hiring a part-time IM + CANS Assessor. The IM+CANS Assessor is a master’s level
clinical professional who will complete an Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP)
utilizing the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) approved instrument;
the Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM+CANS)
Assessment for Medicaid enrolled children under the age of 21 in Illinois. The Clinical Assessor
will meet with the individual, parent/guardian face-to-face, by phone, or by video to complete
the intake and assessment process.
Flexible scheduling between the hours of 8:00am –8:00p.m 7 days a week.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field
- Licensure in the state of IL (LPC, LSW, MFT; LCPC, LCSW or LMFT) preferred
- IM+CANS certification required (we will provided training if needed)
- One year of related clinical experience in Community Mental Health working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals
- Experience in quality management preferred
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
