Overview
Payment Service Operations is a critical enabler of IGT's vast payment products and services offering. As Sr. Manager of Payment Operations, you will lead and grow an expanding business operations team. This is a key, highly visible position that demonstrates integrity, accountability, and collaboration. The Sr. Manager of Payment Service Operations is responsible for the day to day payment cash management accounting and payment fraud risk operations for our cashless payment programs. This role will also support analysis and execution of strategic initiatives as well as have communication/interaction with Partners and management levels of the company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will oversee the following functions:
• Manage, optimize and scale payments reconciliation and fraud risk operations by delivering consistent exceptional service to our Partners and players inside a highly related Betting and Gaming industry.
• Recruit and maintain a highly skilled and engaged team by developing talent, coaching, training performance monitoring and performance evaluations.
• Responsible for a funds management team and services that manages multiple bank accounts and cash management funds services across multiple Partners in highly regulated, auditable environment. Role will have an in-depth understanding of the funds flows, reconciliations and related accounting processes with dependent systems including in-house and third party (Payment Service provider) systems in order to monitor bank accounts, support the team and analyze and resolve variances and settle funds with Partners. Role will also be responsible for seeking optimization of reconciliation processes, leveraging payment gateway and business intelligence tools when possible and seeking automation opportunities.
• Responsible for a fraud risk management team that protects and mitigates cashless payment risk for multiple Partner programs. Role will have an in-depth understanding of both the in-house products and tools including Payment gateway, and third party Payment Service and KYC providers. The fraud risk management team manages manual KYC, chargebacks and cashless payments transaction monitoring and analysis to act upon potentially fraudulent activities.
• Ensure funds and fraud service operation requirements and third party roles are clearly adapted, defined, tested, documented, and implemented in compliance with Partner and regulatory requirements by working Partners and regulators, product, project managers and third parties.
• Implement, analyze and optimize service levels, quality, and cost by creating, managing and presenting to management key performance KPI's aimed to measure funds and fraud services program results.
• Support Partner program operations by working closely with the Partner and 3rd party KYC and payment vendors and front line teams to quickly resolve issues related to teams business services.
• Support any proposals or Partner contractual negotiations in terms of service, support and costing/pricing as it relates to payment reconciliation and risk Service Operations.
Work Location:
This position can be remote from home anywhere in the US.
Requirements
Preferred Skills and Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Finance or related field and 4 years' experience in Finance or related field OR 8 years' experience in finance or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing resources in the payments and/or risk areas
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including decision-making, conflict resolution, ability to lead and continuously develop highly engaged teams is required
• Comfort and acumen in dealing with fast-paced, highly ambiguous and rapidly evolving environment typical of early stage business formation
• Strong working knowledge of the financial industry, card processing, card networks, and operations, including an understanding of how the money moves between platforms and related interchange and other card fee structures
• Strong working knowledge of payment back-office functions, including Wire and ACH processing
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance controls and interpret regulatory requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present across all levels of the organization
• Analytical, Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and have experience implementing process change and improvements
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, including executive managers and vendors and excel in large, complex, matrixed organization

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $84,000-$200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
