Summary:
Goldbelt Nisga’a MOSTT, LLC is seeking an ICU ICW Instructor.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serves as subject matter expert and primary instructor for the Field Hospital ICU/ICW sections courses.
- Serves as the primary instructor for all end user level biomedical equipment training assigned to the ICU/ICW.
- Serves as the primary instructor for OHIT as it pertains to the ICU/ICW Sections.
- Serves as a primary instructor on 2D/ 3D computer design software (ex: AutoDise) as it pertains to DEPMEDS and ICU/ICW section set-up planning.
- Serves as a primary instructor for core DEPMEDS courses.
- Serves as primary instructor for Field Sanitation Course material.
- Serves as an assistant instructor/trainer for Site Organic Driver’s Training courses.
- Serves as a site faculty and primary instructor for BLS training.
- Serves as a site faculty Primary instructor for ALS and PALS training.
- Works with clinical training manager to develop training scenarios for customer units on ICU/ICW section operations.
- Prepared to serve as the sub hand receipt holder and is end user responsible for biomedical equipment for multiple SLOCs.
- Responsible for identifying Class VIII shortage requirements.
- Serves as an alternate subject matter expert to support training of Prolonged Patient/Field Care and other Tactical Combat Casualty Care topics.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Shall have experience with the military training concepts and organizational structure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of recent experience with the military as a Commissioned or Non-Commissioned Officer (E-5 or above) in a Role 2, 3 or 4 military medical treatment unit in a 68 series clinical MOS or sister service equivalent.
- Recent Experience of short to long term patient wound care Recent.
- Experience in short to long term patient care as it pertains to Disease and Non-Battle Injuries Shall possess an appropriate medical certification at time of hiring. RN, LPN, PA, paramedic, special operations medic or EMT-B with applicable experience.
- Shall possess or obtain BLS instructor qualification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually.
