Student Summer Bridge Academy English Instructor

Job Summary:

Fort Valley State University invites applications for a part-time limited term, Professional Faculty position to teach on campus, in-person, face-to-face sections of Freshman English Composition I (ENGL 1101) classes for the Student Summer Bridge Academy. The start date is June 1, 2024.

Qualifications:Minimum: List the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job and are necessary to be considered for the position.

18 graduate-level credit hours from an accredited institution in the discipline of ENG or ENGL course work Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

Master or Doctor degree in English or CompositionExperience teaching in a traditional classroom setting.Documented ability to foster relationships with students.Personal suitability and motivation for the positionExcellent written and verbal communication skills
