Job Title: Hyperion Business Systems Analyst

Reports to: Sr. Manager Business Analytics & Data Management

Location: Goleta, CA or Westlake Village, CA or Remote (Preferably in California)

The Role

Hyperion Business Systems Analyst is an analytical person with great problem-solving abilities and has hands-on Hyperion Essbase development experience. This BSA will support the goals and strategies of Deckers by delivering all Hyperion-related initiatives for end users with the responsibility of Essbase administration. A strong candidate for this role is Business focused, technology savvy, can communicate at all levels in the organization, and thrives in an environment with constantly changing priorities. The Role serves the needs of Global Finance and can work with teams in multiple regions to ensure solutions fit the requirements.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• Design, Develop & serve as a center of excellence for global Deckers 'Oracle EPM stack.'
• Proactive management of the EPM application environments & working closely with the relevant infrastructure teams
• Works with the global business teams to ensure best practice is employed.
• Maintain documentation related to EPM environments and development while providing user training and support.

We'd love to hear from people with

• Significant experience in Hyperion Planning application development, application management/tuning and troubleshooting, and delivery experience on Essbase 11.2
• Data modeling experience using Essbase ASO, BSO, and hybrid architectures and relational sources.
• Working knowledge of SQL / stored procedures, Groovy, Data Warehousing methodologies, and cloud-based technologies (AWS, DMS, Redshift, etc.)
• Demonstrated aptitude for presenting through verbal and written communications.
• Strong people skills to work closely with and support internal customers.
• Willing to accommodate flexible working hours at times to accommodate global partners, especially during the monthly close and planning cycles and for system maintenance.
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
