Marketing Operations Process Consultant
Des Moines, IA Hybrid - Local or someone from Midwest States who can come onsite
Candidates need to be able to work onsite/hybrid 3 days a week in Des Moines, IA to be considered.
Must have healthcare industry experience
Must Have's:
- Strong Visio experience.
- The technical kind of writing component of this role (the documentation writing specialist), those components and mapping experience and Vizio, which is what they would be using is going to stand out.
- If candidates have ever sat within a marketing function, that would be amazing just from a standpoint of knowing Marketing acumen, and understanding functionality.
- Vizio will be the most important.
- Document overall marketing and corporate communications processes, working closely with team to identify process gaps, pain points, role clarity issues and process inefficiencies.
- Evaluate existing documents (strategy summaries, creative briefs, targeting criteria, etc.) used to initiate projects and move the work through the team, and make suggestions to improve usability and consistency, based on process learnings.
- Develop formal quality acceptance processes and criteria team members can use to improve consistency and quality of marketing and communications products.
- Develop process for archiving work products, aligning with business standards and technology. Update current file sharing sites to support execution of archiving process.
- Create or revise documentation of end-to-end process steps and/or job aids for department tasks and functions, resulting in easy-to-use tools to help the team successfully execute their jobs.
- Develop process for reviewing and evaluating materials Client's marketing toolkit for Sales partners and agents, including capacity planning, role assignments, etc. to ensure availability of current and compliant sales enablement tools.
- Mapping documentation.
- CMS or CRM experience.
- Client CRM: MS Dynamics (but not required).
- CMS is on Sitecore and switching, switching to Adobe Manager experience would be great.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you thrive on understanding and documenting details of how systems and process work? Interested in digging in to the details for fast-changing work to help people know and succeed in their roles? This might be a great work assignment for you, especially if you have background in marketing and communications, or are interested in learning more about the field.
This temporary consultant will work with Client's Marketing & Corporate Communications teams to help them understand how they work today and why, and suggest and document process improvements. Then, this role will help the team develop procedures and business artifacts to ensure consistent operational excellence. Initial planned engagement will be for four-six months, with the possibility of extension.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience creating new and updating existing operational process documentation
- Experience creating process documentation and workflows in Visio
- Ability to recognize interdependencies and gaps in process; ability to ask the 'right' questions to help others realize opportunity, leading to process optimization
- Self-directed individuals who take ownership of their work.
- Individual who is execution-oriented and can plan and prioritize work steps to meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with individuals with many working styles and strengths

- This is a BRAND NEW SCOPE w/in Marketing for anyone sitting within Marketing.
- Client has a PE team, but this is not work that the PE team would necessarily do.
- This person could have help to identify gaps and make connections and understand interdependencies, but it is NOT Process Improvement.
- It is more of the Mapping Documentation component they want.
