Form of workDEL-AIR is an industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota.
Primary Responsibilities: Repairs and maintain heating and cooling equipment in commercial settings. Works with light commercial accounts from small office suites to manufacturing/warehouse operations.
Specific Duties & Task:
- Install, modify or repairs air ducts, indoor unit, drain pans, drain lines, etc.
- Braze and solder various metals to connect piping
- Install and calibrate thermostats, humidistat, solenoids, and timers
- Inspect inoperative indoor or outdoor units to locate causes of trouble
- Disassemble indoor or outdoor units, and replaces or repairs defective parts
- Perform preventive maintenance drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication
- Maintain the required tools list for the position
- Familiar with RTU’s and split systems up to 50 tons. Light refrigeration is also a plus.
- NATE certification is preferred but will work with the right candidate to obtain certification
Qualifications:
- Have at least 1 year of HVAC field experience
- Have the appropriate certifications (EPA)
- Have a valid Florida driver's license
- Be experienced with low & high voltage wiring
- Be able to pass a Drug Test
- Be able to pass an extensive background check
- Meet the age requirement of 18 years or older
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Be able to work flexible hours including overtime as needed
