Job Description:

As a Commercial Roof Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of Commercial Roofing systems. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing repairs, and executing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of our clients' roofs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of Commercial Roofing systems to identify areas of concern, such as leaks, damage, or deterioration.

2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including patching leaks, replacing damaged materials, and sealing seams to prevent water infiltration.

3. Utilize various tools and equipment, such as ladders, safety harnesses, and roofing materials, to safely and effectively complete service tasks.

4. Document findings, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly in service reports for client records.

5. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate service schedules and prioritize tasks based on client needs and project deadlines.

6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and handling roofing materials to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

7. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing recommendations for ongoing maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience working in Commercial Roofing or a related field preferred.

2. Proficient knowledge of Commercial Roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and maneuvering in confined spaces.

7. Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.

8. Must have knowledge of all roof systems including but not limited to cold applied B.U.R., torch applied Modified Bitumen, E.P.D.M., Heat Welded TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coatings, Metal Roof Systems, Sheet Metal and related roof accessories.

9. Knowledge of Coating Applied Systems

10. Overnight travel required.

11. Must be technology savvy and able to utilize a smartphone/tablet daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
