Caterpillar is looking to add a Human Resources Operations Coordinator to their team. What you will do:
- Applies strong standards for excellence by efficiently and accurately supporting a variety of talent management processes and projects which are often global in nature and may reach over 100K employees.
- Partners with colleagues to ensure new employees have an informative and engaging welcome to Caterpillar. This includes leading the logistics and managing the technical aspects of the new employee orientation, identifying, recommending, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supports projects and programs to attract and hire top talent to Caterpillar by engaging with colleagues to ensure a timely and accurate flow of information and resources between Caterpillar and external partners.
What you will have:
Experience- 1-2 years of related experience with HR and employee relations/ engagement. Bi-Lingual.
Human Resources Consulting and Operations - Knowledge of HR approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives. You follow operational processes and organizational policies to serve as a role model for Caterpillar Values and to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. You describe key responsibilities and scope for different areas of Human Resources, including Talent Management.
Employee Relations - Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. You check your work to ensure it is representative of your high standards of excellence while also being mindful of time constraints and demonstrating a sense of urgency. When mistakes occur, you learn from them, identify ways to avoid those errors in the future and apply the improvements.
Service Excellence - Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner. Strong Computer skills -including Office 365 Suite
Teamwork - Must have demonstrated ability to work together as a team.
Organization - Must have demonstrated the ability to keep the overview despite multi-tasking as well as meeting deadlines.
Confidentiality - Must have demonstrated the ability to maintain confidentiality with confidential matters.
Communication - Must be able to effectively communicate to all level of employees, customers, and partners. Communications must be clear, concise, and non-threatening. Must be able to listen effectively. You engage and collaborate successfully with stakeholders and colleagues for to ensure strong communication, alignment and understanding of the business and project deliverables.
Business Process Improvement: You can apply different methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing, and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities. You know that candid feedback is a valuable input to drive improvement, so you seek out feedback in addition to using quantitative measures to identify improvement opportunities .
