The Employment Operations & Records (EOR) department of UF Human Resources is responsible for all electronic transactions that support the hiring and employment changes during the lifecycle of UF employees. As part of this team, the Human Resources Office Assistant will provide administrative support to campus partners by supporting EOR’s mission while performing the following duties:
- Complete employment verifications
- Provide support for E-Verify case reviews
- Assist new hires with onboarding troubleshooting that includes but not limited to GatorStart
- Responsible for answering incoming emails and phone calls while providing excellent customer service
- Aid with employee data updates such as name changes; updates to education, social security numbers, and other data updates as needed
$16.00 per hour
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
