Human Resources Manager

How you will Rock the Role:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Employee Recruitment and Selection: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
• Payroll Management: Administer and process a weekly exempt/non-exempt payroll
• Compensation and Benefits Administration: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentive programs, and employee benefits enrollment.
• Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
• HR Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
• Performance Management: Manage performance management system, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans.
• HR Compliance and Legal Affairs: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
• HR Information Systems (HRIS): Manage HRIS software via Paylocity, maintain employee records, generate reports, and utilize data analytics for HR decision-making.
• Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR-related issues, providing insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and success.
• Employee Recognition: Plan and coordinate various company events such as wellness, teambuilding, appreciation, contests, summer and holiday parties, rewards programs, etc.
• Other duties as requested by your manager or other members of the leadership team

Talents and Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Management - preferred
• Minimum 5+ years related HR experience or equivalent, preferably in the manufacturing industry;
• 2+ years of HR Management experience required
• PHR/SPHR preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in Spanish a plus
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Paylocity, HRIS and Epicor experience a plus
