As part of the HR Department, your focus will be to make the office the envy of all advertising. And it’s a plum assignment, as you’ll be charged with managing HR functions at our offices in Chicago, Nashville, and San Francisco, onboarding new staff, handling everything from benefits to internships, establishing great relationships with vendors and building management, and much, much more. - Reports to: President of the Chicago Office.
- Organize and maintain personnel records.
- Manage HR documents.
- Policy review and updates.
- Travel coordination.
- Payroll updates and documentation in coordination with Finance Team.
- Onboarding and off-boarding.
- New hire paperwork and orientation.
- Benefits administration.
- Place open job postings on job boards.
- Internship Program.
- Manage 30/60/90-day review process, mid-years reviews and annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for the Two by Four brand.
- 4 years’ experience in the administration of Benefits and other HR programs with an Agency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- The ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- A focus on attention to detail and organization.
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Resourcefulness.
Accountability
- This person will be accountable for running the Two by Four facilities seamlessly and efficiently and managing HR duties.
- THIS IS A PREDOMINATELY “WORK FROM THE OFFICE” JOB. While we currently offer “Work from Home Wednesdays”, this job requires that you work in our Chicago office Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
