About the role:
As an Order Management Clerk, you are the eyes and ears of Videojet when providing service and support of our customers through internal process interactions.
Our close-knit Supplies manufacturing team of which you are a part serves global customers with an exceptional focus on product/process quality and delivery.
This role provides support for the Order Management function as well as administrative (back-up) support for the Elk Grove facility.
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Respond to queries from our internal customers related to orders.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Prepare hazardous paperwork as necessary.
  • Maintain inventory of all forms and office supplies.
  • Manage SDS documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Own the Order Management process.
  • Process certificates of analysis per customer.
  • Process requisitions for raw material requirements.
  • Monitor past due purchase orders.
  • Maintain high level of SCOT and participate in the correction actions to make that happen.
  • Monitor and act upon Open Deliveries report.
  • Support daily KPI objectives and maintain 5S.
  • Serve as back-up to logistics and materials as required.
  • Problem-solve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues.
  • Partner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive results.
  • Proactively listen to internal/external customers, anticipate their needs, follow through, and work towards a mutually agreeable solution.
  • Collaborate with teammates, managers, and customers to ensure high levels of response.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: High School diploma or GED.
Work Experience:
  • 2 - 5 years office experience.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP.
  • PC skills including MS Office.
  • General warehousing and inventory control knowledge.
