Position Overview:
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resource activities including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and compliance with legal requirements. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the organizational culture and ensuring the well-being and advancement of our employees.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
• Manage job postings, screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and facilitate final interview processes.
Employee Relations
• Act as a mediator in employee disputes and conflicts.
• Address concerns, complaints, or other issues that may arise among the workforce.
• Promote a positive work culture.
Training & Development
• Identify training needs and oversee the creation and delivery of training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure programs align with company objectives.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Manage external payroll provider and payroll processes
• Manage employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings.
• Address employee queries related to benefits.
Performance Management
• Implement and manage performance review processes.
• Coordinate with team leaders and managers to ensure fair performance evaluations.
Legal Compliance
• Ensure all HR operations are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Stay updated with U.S. labor laws and regulations and ensure organizational adherence.
Strategic HR Initiatives
• Collaborate with senior management to understand the company's goals and strategy.
• Implement HR strategies that support business goals.
Administrative / Other Tasks
• Oversee the maintenance and updating of employee records.
• Other tasks as related to the HR Manager role.
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
• Human resources management: 7 years (Required)
Language:
• English (Required)
• Spanish (Preferred)
