Job Description
Join our team as an experienced Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Specialist helping to support the DoD. You will play a vital role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our organization, focusing on achieving strategic objectives and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. If you have a strong background in risk assessment, financial management, and strategic planning within complex organizational structures, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
· Document end-to-end (E2E) processes, identify controls, and describe risk mitigation processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Support the creation of corrective action plans (CAPs) to enhance documentation of financial, non-financial, and systems-related risks and controls.
· Develop an integrated view of risk by linking strategic and mission objectives to risks and priorities, and standardize financial, non-financial, systems, and compliance activities.
· Assist in risk assessments and internal control evaluations to ensure effective control environments. Contribute to agency-wide risk assessment, fraud risk assessment, entity-level control assessment, service provider risk assessment, and agency-wide top down testing initiatives.
· Utilize eGRC tools to streamline Risk Management, improve internal controls discipline, and enhance reporting to stakeholders.
· Provide support in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing program execution documentation in alignment with government requirements.
· Analyze financial information for program planning and budget formulation documentation during the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
· Prepare funding documents, analyze expenditures, and review variance reports to ensure adherence to financial benchmarks.
· Collaborate across functions to develop quantifiable performance measures and streamline compliance activities.
· Foster effective communication and liaison functions within the agency and other relevant agencies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in business Risk Management and/or remediation within the last 10 years.
· At least 5 years of financial management experience within the last 5 years, preferably within the Department of the Defense (DoD).
· Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare documentation using appropriate formats. A minimum of 5 years of audit experience within the last 5 years, with completion of hours of accounting/audit courses.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Familiarity with tools and systems like Etms2, Advana, Nerp, and eGRC.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving requirements.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
