As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and driving HR objectives that align with our company's goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Administer health, welfare, and retirement plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process changes through payroll and providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Reconcile benefits statements and other various invoices.
- Administer, maintain, and update the HRIS systems and data.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory clearances, training, continuing education, certifications, and work assessments.
- Assist with the processing of new hires, changes in status, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Stay current on HR best practices and industry trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in HR processes and programs.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven work experience as an HR Generalist or similar role preferred, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including benefits, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and HR compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism and ethics.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
