We are looking for an HR Generalist to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. The HR Generalist is the go-to person for all employee-related issues and must perform at a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Duties will require recruiting and new employee on-boarding, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration. Coaching experience in performance improvement as a support to supervisors and the ability to lead the safety initiatives for the company, This role is key to ensuring that PowerPro has a great team in place!
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Champion a positive working environment
- Oversee the annual performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Assist Store and Department Managers with employee-related items
- Implement the annual open enrollment for the benefits program working with payroll processing vendor, benefit broker and insurancec providers.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Assess and analyze work practices for safety and implement training and safety protocols for continuous improvement, knowledge of OSHA compliance.
- Maintain Qualified Driver Files and have an understanding of DOT regulations.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven working experience in an HR role.
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent Communication, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Degree in Human Resources preferred, HRP or SHRM certified a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations within South Central and Southeastern PA area as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
