Accounting Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and/or review monthly and year-end close accounting for various entities
• Prepare and/or review journal entries
• Prepare and/or review federal, state, and local tax returns
• Collaborate in a team atmosphere
• Research accounting and/or tax matters as needed
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4 or more years of accounting experience
• Experience with federal, state, and local tax preparation is preferred
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Experience with Pro-Series or equivalent tax software is a plus
• Knowledge in JD Edwards is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Requires excellent problem solving, analytical and project management skills
• The ability to work as a team member is a must
