Job Description
Primary Job Function:
Administer all Human Resources related programs with excellent customer service and to assure the policies and practices as they apply are consistent within established policies, procedures, practices and within state and federal guidelines. Perform any administrative duties for the Human Resources Department. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by Management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Recruiting:
- Coordinate all phases of the employment process as it relates to Human Resources, including: sourcing, screening, recruiting, interviewing, background checks, substance screenings, new hire paperwork, and new hire orientation
- Work with department managers to manage staffing needs according to business plan
- Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: filing, data entry, preparing reports, processing status change forms and other HR related documents
- Employee welfare activities: annual golf outing, company picnic, holiday gifts and events, etc.
- Conduct internal audits for digital and hardcopy files
- Create and import data files into HRIS systems
- Support Thai Summit management by providing information related to HR topics and personnel issues.
Analytics:
- Develop financial reports for budget forecasting
- Submit monthly labor reports to executive management
- Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: filing, data entry, preparing reports, processing status change forms and other HR related documents
- Employee welfare activities: annual golf outing, company picnic, holiday gifts and events, etc.
- Conduct internal audits for digital and hardcopy files
- Develop executive summaries for policy and data comparisons
- Support Thai Summit management by providing information related to HR topics and personnel issues.
Training & Development:
- Facilitate new hire orientation process.
- Administer and coordinate monthly performance reviews for all associates.
- Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: filing, data entry, preparing reports, processing status change forms and other HR related documents
- Track and record personnel data for position control
- Conduct internal audits for digital and hardcopy files
- Support Thai Summit management by providing information related to HR topics and personnel issues.
- Employee welfare activities: annual golf outing, company picnic, holiday gifts and events, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Preferably has a Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training and education
- Preferably has a PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
- Employee relations experience in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of Human Resources laws, policies, procedures and terms
- Employment Law compliance
- Conformance to confidentiality requirements concerning employee information and company-sensitive information
- Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite, ERP Systems, and HRIS systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- Demonstrate excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers and cross-functionally with partners outside of the team to enable high performance
- Must be able to make effective decisions in ambiguous circumstances
- Must have general knowledge of HR laws including the NLRA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, AA, etc.
