SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies, and supporting other HR functions. This role requires a strong understanding of human resource administration, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitingo Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft details for accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
o Identifies and implements efficient but effective recruiting methods with strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
o Assists with job posting and advertisement processes to stay up to date.
o Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
o Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
o Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
o Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Payrollo Collects, reviews, and processes time and attendance data for all employees.
o Ensuring accuracy and timely payment to employees and answer questions as needed.
o Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
o Tracking and ensuring employee status changes are processed, such as new hires, promotions, terminations, and leaves.
o Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and reports related to payroll.
o Ensure payroll compliance with tax laws and other reporting requirements.
o Generate and analyze payroll reports as needed.
o Provide regular updates on payroll changes, processing needs, and other items needed.
Human Resource Supporto Conducts or acquires background checks, drug screenings, employee eligibility verifications, and screenings for random require programs.
o Assist in scheduling client required training and site access.
o Performs routine tasks required in assisting the human resource team including but not limited to benefit census request, leave discussions; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; and training and development.
o Maintains confidentiality when discussing and processing employee absences and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
o Provide additional support with open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
o Respond to Human Resources-related inquiries with a timely response.
o Perform other administrative duties, such as assisting with maintaining employees’ records and other sensitive items, as needed.

o Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education/Experienceo Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
o At least two years’ experience with payroll processing and/or Human Resources administration, required.
Physical Requirementso Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
o Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
