Warehouse Generalist

Summary of Position:

This position will be responsible for providing quality produce to our customers. The Warehouse Worker will also make sure the warehouse is maintained in a sanitary and organized condition.

Essential Functions:

· Pull customer orders.

· Inspect produce to ensure quality.

· Maintain slot readiness.

· Unload incoming deliveries.

· Verify orders onto trucks.

Education/Experience:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 3 months warehouse experience, preferably a produce background

Qualifications:

· Must pass initial drug screens.

· Must be able to work Sunday nights.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Must be able to read and write.

· Must be able to add and subtract.

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be a team player.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, the ability to distinguish and identify colors, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

· The working environment while performing the duties of this job requires the employee to frequently work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to extreme cold temperatures while pulling orders.
