Job Description
Responsible for managing the Human Resources Process, including proposing policies and methods to ACI executive management and retaining all personnel, training, and safety records in compliance with Federal and State laws. The HR Generalist consults with management on human resource-related issues, suggests new HR strategies, and provides HR guidance with appropriate.
Administers employee orientation content, conduct supervisory training, and facilitate operations of performance reviews. Maintain internal audit and reporting systems to allow for effective measurement of ACI programs including safety, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity including persons with disabilities, Veterans, minorities, and women. Additional personnel reporting requirements as specified per project (i.e. US Army Manpower Reporting).
The Role of Human Resources Generalist is the support the daily operation of the HR department in multiple functional areas, such as recruiting, reporting, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, and events.
Recruiting and onboarding support.
Sustains communication between corporate office and site-specific employees through the creation and distribution of the frequent communications, safety updates, and other information deemed appropriate. Responsible for the recruitment, screening, and hiring of personnel. Administers ACI's benefit package, including insurance, vacation, sick leave, 401K plan, and other offerings to employees. Maintain communication between government supervisors and the corporate office addressing any personnel concerns. Interviews and screens all job applicants to ensure appropriate employees are selected to perform required job functions.
Assists the ACI Health and Safety Department, and associated plans/policies for HQ and offsite. Ensure compliance to regulatory and customer directive, develop programs to prevent, eliminate, and control hazards. Develop and track safety and other training. Manage injury and incident processes and work closely with management to ensure Health and Safety measures are met and processes are followed.
Participates in and supports a variety of company and HR programs of events such as company communication meetings, recognition celebrations, open enrollment, leadership meetings, and other company designated gatherings.
Education:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience , Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience).
