Position Overview:
We are looking for a temporary Human Resources Generalist to oversee aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. This means that your HR duties will involve managing programs in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, talent management, learning & development, and policy & compliance. Responsibilities:
- Manage all elements of the recruiting process including, but not limited to: job description development, job postings, screening interviews, interview panel coordination, background check processing, reference checking, creation and distribution of offer letters.
- Drive new hire onboarding experience, ensuring a seamless process in post-selection phase which includes all regulatory compliance paperwork/trainings, IT & system access needs, company orientation, and coordination with pod/job specific onboarding schedules.
- Manage employee personnel files, benefit records, Form I-9s, and medical records.
- Execute offboarding protocols of employees exiting the organization.
- Responsible for executing and documenting compensation changes. · Assist in bi-weekly company payroll and conduct audits of employee timecards for preparation of payroll submission.
- Oversee benefits onboarding enrollment process and assist in open enrollment activities in partnership with 3rd party benefits broker.
- Communicates and responds to any state or federal wage and hour inquiries. This includes monitoring all state and federal employment practice changes and updates company communication pieces, as may be needed.
- Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations and coordinates potential programs to ensures proper compliance (Cal/OSHA, wage and hour, employment practices, EEOC, etc.)
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
