How often do you read an advertisement for a position where the company boasts an innovative and start-up culture, and in the same breath they mention they’ve been in business for 108 years strong? At Preston Feather we are relentlessly supporting innovation in the construction industry and have been since 1915. As such, we are seeking a team member who has the same quest: an innovative, care-filled, comprehensive approach to support our people operations team through their work as a Human Resources Generalist.
As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will work with and learn from our highly experienced HR Leadership and provide support when needed to our Talent Acquisition team. Having 4 locations in Northern Michigan gives us a unique opportunity to support our associates with in-person support that occasionally requires travel to our other locations a few times per month. Often, our Human Resources team can support our associates through virtual tools including Microsoft Teams.
At Preston Feather we include Career Pathing as part of our everyday language. Uniquely in our HR team, you’ll have the opportunity to help to administer all aspects of our talent development and succession planning initiatives… and you’ll also experience those benefits as a member of our team! Growth and development is part of what we do. It’s who we are.
