Job Description:

As a Human Resources Generalist with Payroll Experience at Aztec Landscaping, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, with a focus on payroll administration. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Payroll Management:

- Process and manage payroll in an accurate and timely manner.

- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws.

- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

Talent Acquisition:

- Oversee the recruitment process, from posting job ads to conducting interviews and onboarding.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with payroll budget.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and concerns related to payroll.

- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Training and Development:

- Identify training needs for HR and payroll processes.

- Conduct training sessions for employees on payroll-related matters.

Safety Compliance:

- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure payroll compliance with safety regulations.

- Maintain awareness of safety-related payroll considerations.

Benefits and Administration:

- Administer employee benefits programs and handle benefit-related payroll deductions.

- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in Human Resources, with a focus on payroll management.

- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits administration.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.

- Experience in the labor force environment in landscaping or construction is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.46 - $31.86 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
