ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP® is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Corporate Human Resources team, located in Newburgh, IN. The position will be on site. Apply at https://www.energysystemsgroup.com/careers.html.
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support for the various Human Resources functions. This position will support and work closely with all members of the Corporate Human Resources team in their respective areas of responsibility.
The essential functions of the position include:
- Support annual processes including compensation benchmarking, talent review, succession planning, performance management, and annual compensation/increase process.
- Facilitate, in partnership with other members of the HR team, employee leaves of absence including short term disability, military, and FMLA; research state-specific requirements.
- Provide talent acquisition support including building job postings, scheduling interviews, pre-screening candidates, processing candidate interview expenses, managing recruiting documents, tracking employee referrals, and updating applicant status in the applicant tracking system.
- Support new hire onboarding processes including monitoring applicant tracking workflow, initiating new hire surveys, reporting new hire survey results, initiating new hire travel, participating in new hire orientation presentations as necessary, and initiating new hire equipment needs.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports; provide various data collection and analysis as needed for Human Resources and leadership including recruiting, compliance reporting, training, etc.
- Create and maintain personnel files. Manage personnel files including filing, archiving, and records retention related to personnel files.
- Maintain HR intranet with policies, forms, procedures, and general employee information updates.
- Support policy/compliance research, writing, and formatting.
- Support the creation and updating of job descriptions and related activities.
- Facilitate random drug screen program.
- Process employee reimbursement programs, such as health club and tuition.
- Initiate, monitor, and report out on various employee-focused surveys.
- Complete various HR related processes including audits, compliance, new hire reporting, employee data validation, employee testing/screening, and employment verification.
- Update various data points including email distribution lists, work related compliance posting requirements, and other data as needed.
- Support HR in procurement and purchasing related processes.
- Support as needed learning/training items in the learning management system.
- Assist in providing backup coverage for members of the HR team when out of office.
- Acts in accordance with organization’s information security, HR, and corporate policies.
Your background includes:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of Human Resources related experience
A bonus to have:
- Associate’s degree
- Three (3) years of Human Resources related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ADP software experience
