The California Human Resources Coordinator supports the West Region HRG and the broader Employee Experience team in delivering of a wide array of Human Resources services and processes. This includes assisting with new hire onboarding processes, timekeeping review, termination processes, forms development, intranet maintenance, employee recognition projects, and other tasks as needed. Candidates most suited for this role will have some understanding of California labor law and experience working within a high-functioning professional team focused on delivering world class support and guidance to their employees.
Potential Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
- Supports HR Generalist with new hire onboarding and termination processes
- Supports HR team in understanding fundamental California labor law compliance issues
- Assists with the development and revision of HR forms and documents
- Coordinates and assists with the administration of HR processes and special projects, including record keeping and HRIS entry
- Maintains employee records and other HR file management tasks
- Works closely with the entire HR team to review, process, and input transactions in various HRIS
- Interfaces with employees and provides top-notch employee assistance in line with CONSOR’s culture and core values
- Assists with employee related communications, including updates to Yammer and company intranet
- May lead special projects as assigned such as CONSOR-wide holidays, special events, and contest coordination
- Supports and provides backup coverage to other HR team members
- Assists with other assigned functions
- PHR or SHRM-CP credential preferred
- Understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, presenting, and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
- Well-developed computer skills, including high proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe products. Proficiency in/experience with PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Trello, Vision, and ADP is a plus.
