Responsibilities
Works directly with BJ’s People Team on a variety of team member items. Primary role is to provide logistical, administrative and project support to the People Team.
People Team
- Provide support as needed to the entire People team.
- Coordinate and schedule team meetings and experiences.
- Own strategy documents and update as needed (at least once a month)
- Provide administrative support for key conferences: GMC and TPC
- Assist with various People Team related shipments as needed.
- Distribute mail delivered to the People Team to the proper departments within the People Team
- Support with managing the expenses and budgets when requested
- Other duties as assigned.
Talent Acquisition
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Social Media and Job Boards.
- Schedule interviews for Field Talent Days.
- Coordinate interview schedules with paid services such as Indeed, job fairs, conferences, etc.
- Support the referral program and send out referral incentives.
- Own the manager and hourly now hiring collateral, ship to teams when needed and manage the supply chain aspect of all the collateral.
- HireHub ownership – open new reqs and source through HireHub for applications for hard to hire markets as directed by the Talent Acquisition Managers
- Respond to helper tickets for TA and HireHub inquiries.
Talent Development
- Complete new hire paperwork for new RSC team members on their first day of employment.
- Follow-up with DO/AVPs and GMs to ensure their internal new hires (restaurant managers) have been keyed accurately in Workday and that external new hires have all the tools they need to immerse into BJ’s (laptop, chef coat, learning tools, etc.).
- Prepare for leadership conferences (CDC and LDC), CEO Council, etc. by ordering food, supplies, coordinating travel (air, hotel and car) and own the communication to the field team.
- Respond to helper tickets for Academy (LMS) and other TD programs.
Total Rewards
- Assist with mailing offers of coverage for benefit eligible team members.
- Assist Total Rewards team with open enrollment mailings to the restaurants and to team members.
- Assist Total Rewards with creating and mailing benefit termination letters.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2-3 years relatable administrative, Human Resources and/or hospitality experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator (oral and written)
- Active listener
- Self starter and takes initiative
- Team player and able to collaborate with all levels within the organization
- Trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and pivot when needed
- Able to handle multiple competing priorities and can determine the priority of workload
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
Pay Range
USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
