Position purpose: Perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department and local business office.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

- Responsible for answering the HR phone line - responding to HR inquiries or directing to the appropriate department.
- Maintains the HR inbox, responding to HR inquiries or directing to the appropriate department, when applicable.
- Responsible for office new hire onboarding for assigned states.
- Backup for office new hire onboarding for Texas.
- Responsible for the monthly sex offender checks.
- Assist with HR projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of HR department and files.
- Serve as location HR local representative for employees and management.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. No college experience is required.
Experience: Prior experience in Human Resources is a plus. Experience performing the Onboarding and Compliance Coordinator or similar role.
Other Requirements:
- Successfully passing the aPHR exam or higher is required within the first year of being in this role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with the ability to convey intent and professionalism
- Must possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must demonstrate being self-motivated and organized, taking accountability for responsibilities and actions
- Must be a team player, working collaboratively to meet the needs of our employees and the organization, including positively supporting others and a willingness to learn and grow
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee and Company information.
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure information is entered correctly

- Work experience or knowledge of the healthcare industry in administrative/office setting or related field preferred
- Functional competence with office tools including word, excel, power point, etc.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, postal machines, etc.
Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an HR Coordinator, such as sitting for 80 percent of the day; manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries, lifting up to 20 lbs. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
Pay range : $23/hr - $25/hr
