REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Strong knowledge in employment labor laws and practices
  • Working knowledge of multiple Human Resources practices, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, and performance management
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proactive approach when working with others
  • Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position acts as a subject matter expert, providing training and direction necessary to mitigate employee related issues. In addition, the HRBP is responsible for partnering with the Human Resources Department and business management team to develop integrated solutions with the goal of proactively communicating any HR related needs. This role formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. This position may include international Human Resource responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations. Partners with Human Resources Manager on legal issues related to HR.
  • Responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal counsel as needed/required.
  • Delivers day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Responsible for the management and facilitation of the performance review process for designated business units.
  • Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Minimizes risk.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding Company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Interpret and explain Company policies and procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Identify and suggest strategies for streamlining HR related processes and procedures.
