Responsibilities:
The People Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the Chelsea Piers Fitness People Operations programs and policies as they apply to employee relations, compensation, benefits, onboarding, and hiring.
General Responsibilities:
- Help manage daily people operations for Chelsea Piers Fitness, including, but not limited to:Talent acquisition, onboarding and training, employee engagement, policy implementation, proper utilization of our Human Resources management system,and performance management
- Partner with managers and People Ops to ensure successful onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Manage and update resources such as the Chelsea Piers Fitness Employee Handbook and Manager Resource Guide in collaboration with Chelsea Piers People Operations
- Assist in the execution of programs designed to enhance employee morale and productivity
- Assist in creating an engaged, inclusive, positive work environment for all Chelsea Piers Fitness employees
- Assist with payroll processes
- Manage job postings for all Chelsea Piers Fitness locations
- Special Projects as required
Qualifications

You are a detail-oriented team player with a passion for building scalable processes and curating an exciting employee experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two years of Human Resources experience or related professional experience with project management, administrative work, or customer service
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all employees in the organization
- Ability to professionally handle confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness
- The ability to handle multiple projects, working both collaboratively and independently
