Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Based in Tucker, GA, Applied Home Care, Inc. is a home health care agency focused on providing personal and clinical care to patients. We have been servicing patients and families in the Atlanta area since 2004 with continuous high growth in patients and employees.
Job Description Summary
This position will require the performance of a variety of office activities. The successful candidate is comfortable working independently and can take the initiative to interpret and use guidelines with ability to handle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy. This position reports to the Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and monitoring employees’ shifts
- Answering phones and address employee and patient inquiries
- Manages incoming office email boxes
- Perform general office duties to include managing employees’ timesheets and daily filing
- Update, organize and manage patient files
- Perform monthly case scheduling and daily scheduling changes
- Update and maintain all data for invoicing
- Assist Director with Patient Services with other projects as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 2 years of Administrative Homecare Agency experience is required.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and QuickBooks or equivalent
- Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
- Working knowledge of a computer, printer, and fax machine
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Strong organizational and time management with ability to multi-task
- Must exercise flexibility as our processes are subject to change to meet our business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Working knowledge of a computer, printer, and fax machine
- Attention to detail
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Completion of Associate Degree or Higher
- 3 or more years of experience in jobs with responsibilities similar to those of an Administrative Assistant.
- Aspirations to become part of Management team.

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
