Human Resources Assistant/Jr. Recruiter

- Four year degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Six months to two years direct experience in a Human Resources department preferred
- Professional services environment experience a plus
- Must be proficient in the use of prevailing office software and equipment
- Must have good command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Must possess strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Recruiting for entry-level and Co-op roles.
- Attending regional career fairs.
- Data entry, filing, scanning, document editing, letter/memo preparation, and other HR administrative support activities.
- Assist department with recruitment activities including resume scanning, interview scheduling, recruitment packet preparation, and career fair support.
- Assist with safety program – including records maintenance, equipment tracking/cleaning, training schedules, and other paperwork as needed.
- Assemble 401(k) and benefit packets, new hire orientation binders, and other employee communication pieces as needed. Assist with benefits open enrollment.
- Assist HR staff with the coordination and logistics of training schedules, training materials, and training records maintenance.
- Update internal intranet with company news and HR communications.
- Assist HR staff with charity and company events.
- Compile, proofread, and distribute company newsletter on a timely basis.
- Other special projects and support to other departments as assigned.
