A Human Resources Assistant is a professional who completes administrative duties for the Human Resources department of an organization. They assist HR managers with recruitment, maintain employee records, assist with payroll processing and provide administrative support to all employees.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Onboarding new hires
- Prepare new hire packets.
- Prepare new hire folders once hired.
- Review job applicants and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain all new hire folders for accuracy and completion.
- Maintain records for vacations and sick-day eligibility.
- Any additional admirative duties that may arise.
Qualifications
- Two Years Experience a Must!
- Associate degree or equivalent training in Human Resources
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with Management staff and prospective employees
- Computer literacy and ability to learn company software
- Understanding of Human Resources concepts and ability to communicate solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully
