Human Resources Analyst

While receiving leadership support from the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Analyst will advance our mission by overseeing the administration of our HCM system, benefits and HR team metrics, including ongoing analysis and recommendations based on best practice. The Human Resources Analyst will ensure all activities are performed in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, values and brand of the company.

Key Responsibilities

· Uses technical skills to source data, analyze Human Resources information, develop key takeaways and provide recommendations to business leaders.

· Creates and maintains Human Resources dashboard including generating metrics and providing analysis of the data.

· Supports the design and management of the Benefit program including benefits administration, COBRA, EAP, and other team member services.

· Provides both functional and technical support for HCM system and related processes and acts as the organization’s technical point of contact to identify, troubleshoot and resolve HCM system and reporting issues, research processing issues, unexpected data results and process flow issues.

· Stays current on new and upcoming enhancements to the HCM system, researches the impact and assists with rollout.

· Provides direct support for the enrollment processes and ensures an understanding of the complete benefit package offered to team members.

· Participates in benefit related projects and initiatives, including annual open enrollment and the implementation of new benefit plans and programs as assigned.

· Identifies and implements opportunities that improve HCM usability and efficiency and leverages technology to reduce barriers, eliminate manual effort and enhances end user experience.

· Researches, analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves database issues through periodic audits, and reconciles data between systems to ensure accurate benefit administration.

· Contributes to benefit discussions and makes recommendations following the guiding principles and benefit philosophy to add value to the lives of our team members and their families.

· Reduces and mitigates risks by staying current with and identifying compliance gaps with benefit programs and recommending possible resolutions.

· Serves as the primary day-to-day contact and develops strong working relationships with external vendors such as the HCM system support team, benefits broker, retirement administrator, etc.

· Consults with cross-functional departments and key stakeholders to recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements using the HCM system.

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.

· Professional certification in the human resource profession is preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources function, preferably with direct exposure to benefits and/or HCM systems during that time. • Experience with benefit administration.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse audience and all levels of

· management.

· Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent organizational and project management skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Understanding of confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.

· Experience with nonprofit organizations is preferred.

· At least an intermediate level of competency with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required to design, review, and summarize data.

· Ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as applicable.
