We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join Kaiser Aluminum in Franklin, Tennessee at our new corporate office!
The Human Resources Administrator will function as a key member of the Human Resources team, providing a wide range of support and administrative activities inside the department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with daily operations of the HR functions, coordinating HR projects, processing employee changes, and performing various administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the HR department. This role works closely with HR and payroll across the organization.
What you will work on:
- Performs accurate and timely data change entry; including promotions, terminations, title, and supervisor changes
- Creates and maintains accurate and up to date Human Resources files, records, and documentation
- Responds to verification of employment requests
- Processes and distributes HR mail
- Assists with the communication and distribution of service awards
- Schedules meetings as requested
- Processes HR/benefit invoices
- Compiles and distributes HR schedules
- Works closely with benefits team during open enrollment
- Assists with payroll review
- Assists with HR/benefit audits
- Assists with various research and/or special projects
Requirements

- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel

- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent listening, communication and writing skills
- Excellent ability to take notes and follow instructions
The following minimum qualifications and experience are desired:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
