```Job Summary```
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant assists with all aspects of the district job posting and application process, including creation and updates to existing job postings. They are responsible for new employment processing. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant acts as liaison between contracted services company (EDUStaff), Redrover, and HVS for their hiring process. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant maintains fingerprinting records on all district employees for compliance and assists in processing Criminal Records Checks. They prepare and process the Registry of Educational Personnel (REP) Report. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant maintains, Highly Qualified teacher database. They assist in the Employment Verification processing.
```Duties```
- Assist with all aspects of the district job posting and application process including creation and updates to existing job postings for support staff.
- Responsible for new employment processing for Huron Valley Schools support staff.
- Input basic demographic information on new hire employees in B+.
- Act as liaison between contracted services company (EDUStaff), Redrover, and HVS for their hiring process.
- Maintain fingerprinting records on all district employees for compliance.
- District LASO – Local Agency Security Officer
- Prepare and process Registry of Educational Personnel (REP) Report bi-annually.
- Update REP report monthly – new hires, rehires, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate records on all Para-Educator certifications.
- Process pay increases for support staff.
- Provide evaluation tracking on district employees.
- Assist with and record attendance for the Administration Building payroll.
- Assist in the implementation and records maintenance of the district Hepatitis B program.
- Maintain personnel records including paperless document imaging.
- Assist in processing Criminal Record Checks (CRC’s) for new hire employees.
- Support the CRC process when necessary.
- Process State New Hire and Rehire Reports.
- Job Fair support
- Maintain Emergency Forms for district employees.
- Droplet Support
- Change of Status (COS) maintenance.
- Create and maintain certified personnel records and assist with seniority lists.
- Issue employee ID badges.
- Assist with Human Resources reports, surveys and legislative requirements.
- Primary back-up for the Executive Assistant to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Cross train with all Human Resources Administrative Assistants.
- Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Supervisor or the Chief Human Resources Officer.
```Qualifications```

- Strong technology skills; knowledge of databases; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Skyward and Business Plus.
- Possess adequate accounting knowledge and understanding of district business office functions and accounts.
- Ability to generate computer reports from various data sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize departmental work, tasks and requests.
- Exhibits initiative to accept and carry out varied assignments with consistent, systematic approach to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish relationships with various district staff, community members and parents.
