We have an exciting hybrid work opportunity for a Human Resource Partner, Engineering Module Centers!
The Pratt & Whitney Engineering Human Resources team is seeking a high-energy self-starter to drive key Human Resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture in our Module Center organization. The HR Partner in this role will provide strategic HR guidance to multiple client groups with employees in East Hartford, CT and other locations throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a positive disruptor while balancing competing priorities and influencing stakeholders
- Participating in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs
- Partnering with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and drive results
- Effectively executing Human Resources processes including staffing and retention, talent development, engagement, performance management, salary planning, and employee relations
- Supporting diversity, recruiting and retention strategy efforts and programs for the Engineering organization
- Consulting with key leaders and stakeholders to obtain their input on the organization’s HR needs
- Coaching executives and managers and employees on how to effectively address employee relations issues
- Addressing HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees and collaborating with the respective COE partners as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree and 10+ years of progressive HR experience; OR Advanced degree and 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/MS/MA in Human Resources or related field is highly desired
- Project management skills
- Initiative, creativity, along with the ability to craft clear communications both written and verbally
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong influencing and decision-making skills.
- Creative troubleshooting skills
- Excellent judgment and professional maturity
- Multi-tasking abilities, strong client focus, adaptive, and ability to work effectively in a time sensitive and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Workday HRIS

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
