About the Role

If you’re a motivated student or recent graduate eager to make an impact in a global organization, join us as a Human Resources Intern. As a Human Resources Intern at Magna, you'll work closely with our dynamic HR team, gaining firsthand experience in key HR functions while contributing to meaningful projects. Your Responsibilities

 

Interns will be involved in one or more of the following responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition Support: Assist with sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and communicating with applicants.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Help streamline the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and guiding new employees through their orientation.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, update HR databases, and assist with benefits administration and payroll coordination.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and surveys.
  • Training and Development: Organize training programs, maintain training records, and gather feedback to assess program effectiveness.
  • Policy Compliance: Help ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws by conducting regular audits and providing policy guidance.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects focused on process improvements, diversity and inclusion, and HR analytics.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • An enthusiastic learner with a proactive attitude.

Your preferred qualifications

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
