Project 2231 is a family-owned Hospitality and Entertainment company in Clarksville, TN, that operates Miss Lucille's Marketplace, Miss Lucille's Cafe, Dock 17, The City Forum, Varsity Pins, and ACME Athletics is looking for a Human Resources Intern for Summer 2023, June through August. This position is a paid internship. Will work with Professor if needed for internship credit.
Objectives:
The key objectives include supporting Human Resources projects around utilizing the new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) effectively, applicant screening, onboarding, file management, simplifying the performance management process, designing training programs,
Roles and Responsibilities:
Screening resumes and applications
Onboarding employees
Coordinating interviews
Recruitment
Assist the Human Resources Manager with the following:
Job analysis and creation of job descriptions
Internal audit of policies and procedures
Designing a performance management training program
Designing employee annual compliance training
Re-design of employee onboarding program
The HR intern will be required to interact with company owners, other managers, employees, job applicants, and candidates. The following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:
Qualification
Minimum of two years of university education andcurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an Undergraduate program or currently enrolled in a Graduate School, preferably majoring in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or another related field.
