Job Description
- Participate in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
- Conduct pre-employment tests and reference checks for applicants.
- Maintain records, reports, and logs related to applicant flow procedures.
- Verify I-9 documentation and keep records up-to-date.
- Prepare paperwork for placing employees on payroll and establish personnel files.
- Conduct new employee orientation & assist with exit interviews.
- Ensure accurate data input into ADP for new hires, promotions, salary changes, transfers, status changes, and personal changes.
- Assist with weekly and biweekly payrolls
- Process Short Term Disability claims.
- Assist with FMLA & PFL requests.
- Assist HR Director with research projects and/or special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and three (3)years of experience in the HR field, or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including MS Word, Excel
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- In depth knowledge of recruiting platforms – Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, etc.
